New Group for Native Families!
We're offering a Native Newborns group for moms and babies (up to 2 years old) of American Indian/Alaskan Native Heritage
This group is for Native moms (American Indian/Alaska Native heritage) and newborns up to or around 2 years of age who want to build healthy community relationships and gain support in raising strong, culturally grounded children. Weekly zoom gatherings will include parent-focused discussion and story-sharing around the needs of Native mamas and their babies. It will also include tutorials from Indigenous Chefs and community Food Sovereignty specialists on how to incorporate ancestral foods into your baby's diet while making your own baby food. Each participant will be gifted their own baby food making system and food boxes to accompany the tutorials.⠀

We're offing this group with support from Hummingbird Indigenous Doulas! They are a culturally responsive, full-spectrum, Indigenous doula program. They provide fee-of-cost services to American Indian/Alaskan Native and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander families birthing in King County.

SPS COVID Vaccine Clinics for Students Ages 5-11
Regional clinics are open to all SPS students who are 5 years and older. Students do not have to be enrolled in that specific school. School-Day clinics are only for students enrolled in that school where the clinic is held. SPS vaccine clinics are organized to prioritize families who face more barriers to vaccination.

Vaccinate WA | Vaccine Locator
The COVID-19 vaccine is available to people 5 years of age and older. Youth ages 5 to 17 may get only the Pfizer vaccine. No other COVID-19 vaccine is authorized for people younger than 18.
